How you support our team

  • As an IT administrator at our Berlin office, you will be the main point of contact on site and will ensure the smooth running of the IT infrastructure
  • You will assess and process fault reports and service requests in the ticketing system, from first- to second-level support
  • You will assist staff with all queries regarding PC hardware, Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft 365
  • You will analyse and resolve faults on workstations, servers and the network
  • You will set up and manage desktop workstations and mobile devices (e.g. laptops, mobile phones, printers)
  • You will carry out updates, patches and backups, thereby ensuring an up-to-date patch status and high system availability
  • You will support the IT team across all sites in the areas of firewalls and networking (e.g. firewall administration, VPN/IPsec, network troubleshooting)
  • You will contribute to IT projects aimed at further developing and automating the infrastructure
  • You will document systems, configurations and support in a clear and traceable manner

What sets you apart

  • You have a degree in IT, computer science or a related subject, or equivalent training
  • You have at least three years’ professional experience in a similar role
  • You have in-depth knowledge of network technologies (LAN/Wi-Fi, VLAN, routing, VPN) and experience in administering firewalls
  • You are familiar with Windows Server and the associated technologies (AD, DHCP, DNS, DFS)
  • You have a basic understanding of Microsoft 365
  • You have experience in first- and second-level support, as well as in the installation and configuration of Microsoft products
  • Ideally, you have some knowledge of VMware, Azure and Veeam Backup
  • You have a good command of spoken and written English and can communicate confidently within an international team
  • You are willing to travel occasionally to our other sites
  • You work in an analytical, conceptual and solution-oriented manner, including as part of a cross-site team
  • You work very independently and have a hands-on approach, as, in your role as an on-site administrator, you will make decisions on your own initiative and take the lead yourself
